This thesis examines the various leadership styles employed by nurse leaders, including transformational, transactional, and servant leadership, and their impact on patient outcomes in healthcare settings. Through a mixed-methods approach, this study analyzes existing literature, surveys, and interviews with nursing professionals to explore the direct and indirect effects of nurse leadership on patient care. The findings reveal that leadership styles focusing on collaboration, staff empowerment, and patient-centered care are more likely to result in positive patient outcomes. The study concludes with recommendations for healthcare organizations to invest in leadership development programs for nurses to enhance overall patient care.
