Is it a hard sight for you to witness the kitchen waste going in the bin? The fruit and vegetable peels, the squeezed food matter remained after juices have been extracted, the leftover food from the plates of your family, and so on comprise your kitchen waste. Honestly, all these can be used to create manure.
Before you order your manure injector equipment, learn how to turn your kitchen waste into something useful for your buddies blooming in your backyard. Let us throw some light on these here.
Understand what is composting.
Compost is nothing but the decayed organic matter we use as fertilizer for plants. When the solid organic materials break down in the presence of air to form a natural fertilizer, it creates a compost.
So, how do start making your own compost? Check the following points.
Get the right pot first – You can take the right container that you can cover. We recommend using earthenware over plastic ones as they allow water to flow out of them.
As you have chosen your container, the next step is to add some soil to it. Layer the soil with dry paper and leaves that covers one-third of the container. Once this space is occupied, we have two-third space remaining.
Add the leftover fruits, vegetables, and cover it. Now it is time to hole up. Make holes at the sides and the bottom of the container. The holes will help the organic matter in the compost to breathe.
Try to keep away the flies and mosquitoes from the compost. Keep mixing and stirring the mixture once or twice a week. The compost should be ready within 6-8 weeks.
Use a manure injector equipment to fill your plants with the manure. Witness them bloom.
