1. Launch the 2019 Family Tree Maker.
2. Go to the workplace for people.
3. Find and pick the person you wish to remove in the Tree View.
4. From the menu, select Person > Delete Person (or right-click and select Delete Person).
5. In the pop-up window, confirm the deletion.
6. For every individual you wish to eliminate, repeat the procedure.

Method 2: Eliminating a Group of People Using a Different Tree

If you must remove several linked people:

1. Make a Backup: Before making significant deletions, save a backup of your tree by selecting File > Backup.

2. Export a Novel Tree Devoid of Unwanted Individuals:
⦁ Select File > Export.
⦁ Choose Selected Individuals: Only the individuals you wish to retain should be chosen.
⦁ Make a new file out of this.

3. Open the freshly saved tree, which now does not include the people you want to remove.

Method 3: Eliminating a Whole Tree

If you wish to remove every person:
1. Launch the Family Tree Maker app.
2. To get back to the home screen, select File > Close.
3. In the Plan Workspace, find the tree.
4. Choose Delete Tree with a right-click on the tree.
